Welcome to my photo website. I add new photos frequently. Most are
fresh out of my camera and some are scanned from slides and negatives
taken over the years. My picture-taking philosophy is simple - I try to
create beautiful and interesting images. I shoot anything and everything
and select the ones I like best.
Photography has been my hobby since I was young. I owe a lot to my
Dad, John Sr., who taught me "how to see" and my uncle, Max Beattie,
who taught me the technical side of photography.
I have recently started to sell my photos. I sell photo files, so the prices
are low ($5 for 4x6 print-size jpegs, and $15 for enlargement-size jpegs).
You can buy a jpeg file and print it at home or at a photo shop. If there
are any photos in the website that you would like to buy, please send me
an email or use the Feedback form on this page and quote the file name
(e.g. D1234). You can get the file name of any photo by right-clicking the
photo you want and selecting 'Properties'. I'll get back to you as soon as
possible.
